This half-hearted nitpicky review of Goldy's Corner doesn't reflect our experience at all. We were excited Goldy's opened up a coffeeshop so we could have a cup of joe while waiting for a breakfast table next door, but now we opt to make the coffeeshop an alternative destination. Like Ryan Hill says, GC's staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating. Anything we've eaten there has been right off the Goldy's Chef's menu and has been great. The atmosphere is what you expect it should be - comfy and eclectic. We love that local artists are given a space to show their work, local musicians are given a place to play music and the bar crowd is given an optional place to hang after the bars close on weekends. It's a well-run, locally-minded venue that gives back to the community and is doing a great job for their first year effort.
By the way, I've noticed that Goldy's advertises in your paper, BW. Nice way to show appreciation to someone who has supported your business. The least you could do is be fair instead of sending a reviewer that sees "the glass half empty" and comes across as overly negative like he has a personal bone to pick.
