Concealed weapons permit holders are not a holy class of law-abiding of people. Nearly anyone can get a concealed weapons permit; in fact, in Idaho two students have been murdered off campus by permit holders. Senator Bart Davis’ son was murdered by a permit holder, and a few years ago a U of I student was murdered by a permit holder.
This is an interesting article, and made me recall this experience: While talking to a friend who is gay I made the mistake of assuming he was left-leaning in his politics. He quickly reprimanded me for assuming that and I was glad he did. So I guess that experience influences my response to this article: as far as I know, people are not gay based on their political leanings or desire to be part of a social movement.
The last comment intersects nicely with a quote from this previous article: “What pisses me off is that we respect the people that market to these women, but not the women that consume the products themselves,” said Megan Westerby, vice president of marketing at Collective Digital Studio."
It's not often that I get so immersed in music that my brain goes quiet and I just enjoy myself, but this did it for me. Somehow their sound just felt good - perhaps it was the bone rattling.
Get your facts straight, these are not abortion pills. And equating having sex with having poor morals is an inaccurate view of why people (young or old) have sex in the first place.
I like this place a lot - surprisingly there aren't that many places in Boise where you can get good food, a good latte, and have internet access at the same time. The chicken salad sandwich is great, and they have a wide variety of chocolate and treats. I like the observation that it seems to be geared toward women - well it's working and I'll continue to go there happily.
