seekandfind...So you find Elizabeth actions to be completely in line with the 9 month ordeal of kidnapping and rape that she so picturesquely describes. You find her monetary obsession and the manner she is capitalizing on her celebrity victim status to get rich to be perfectly normal for a young woman who has suffered the ordeal she claims to have? Not even an arched eyebrow by the "foundation" she formed to avoid paying taxes on her new found riches? That she is so enthusiastic about informing the masses that she was raped over 1000 times in her 9 months with Mitchell? And now she wants to a write a book so she can describe her "ordeal" to an even larger audience. I'm sorry. I just can't buy that she is traumatized and, yet, so eager to milk her story for cash. Either large parts of the story are wrong or it wasn't nearly as much of an "ordeal" as she paints it. I think everyone wants to feels sorry for her and, not only refuse to look objectively at her story, but get incensed when anyone else questions any part of it.
I must admit that I do admire the way Elizabeth Smart testified in court. That took more fortitude than most similar victims can manage.
You are not the first to remove comments that take a different view than your own. I am sure you will not be the last. I have found that anyone that takes a position differing from the "official" Elizabeth Smart storyline is automatically considered "disgusting" and usually their intentions and morals are called into question.
