Law enforcement officials take an oath to the constitution and should tell the courts and the legislature when laws are unreasonable and unnecessary and violates their to the constitution. www.ursm.us
Making certain firearms illegal is not unreasonable because it does not deprive persons the right to bear arms.
I would like law enforcement officials to declare criminalizing marijuana unconstituional. because it is unreassonable use of police power to deprive persons of their liberty and property when there is no victim of a crime, contravening Amendments IV, V and XIV.
Like President Obama, Idaho Senators continue to treat the U.S. Constitution as frivolous to keep marijuana illegal.
Constitution of the United States Article I Section 8 paragraph 18: “To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, ….”
“The right of the people to be secured in their person, houses, papers and effects from unreasonable searches and seizes shall not be violated,.” Amendment IV(Applied to the States by the Amendment XIV ).
Amendment XIV section 1 Because all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
