Every picture tells a story but what isn't explained is how well the picture was prepared for the phot shoot. Every pictures paints a story but often its the paint that covers up the truth.. Enuff said .. bon apetite.. but I won't eat there unless I absoulutely have to and I don't... Food service goes to the lowest bidder.. is that a clue?
The officer sounds and behaves most appropriately and has a great sense of responsibility in doing his job. i commend his professionalism, attitude and conduct. He represents Correctional Officers well - howerver - This article however, cannot be applied universally to every prison as not are all so well equipped, staffed and food prepared this manner. It is a good thing, don't get me wrong but it distorts the fact that this perhaps represents maybe 40 % of how food service is being run in some places. Others are infested with mice, coachroaches, mold, bacteria and other contaminants. Some have no chemicals to sanitize the utiensils or pots and pan. others stack food on the floor without lids and other barriers to keep pests out. I know this all sounds negative but I wanted to balance a good article with the bad.. It's only right to see both sides. If you want more how kitchens are really run before a dog and pony show, let me know by email. It's sad that good things are often destroyed by bad things but the public needs to know that Idaho may be the exception of the rule or are they? You be the judge.. I have seen it alot worse elsewhere and if we wanted to get tecnnical. we could go down Arizona and check them out..
