Bogus? No chairlift proposed. A Magic Carpet like the beginner area.
Lucky Peak? One of their docks wouldn't fit in the Gateway Lake. The proposal is for people who don't have boats.
Pollution ? For everyone who crosses Hill Road and Bogus Basin Road this park saves 16 miles of driving as the park is 8 miles from that intersection. If you live west you are saving that much more. Everyone saves drive distance, even Highlands residents.
How many people live where the Rocky MTN Oyster Feed is held? Yet it's advertised for the whole valley. We're all from the valley. I'm betting many of the NIMBAs commute to Boise taking away my open space biking the streets.
But this area has been approved for years as a sports park. Have not heard of anything else proposed since time expired for the velodrome. Time to move forward. It appears to be a fiscally responsible proposal for Eagle to offer improved amenities to its residents without additional upfront costs as Neptune proposes to shoulder the burden.
Most all ski areas in the states make use of public lands. Not only do they charge, most activities through any park or recreation program has charged fees for decades.
Ryan isn't building America's next great ski area. He proposes an entry gateway. For the kids. Almost like a gift.
