Beautiful story about a beautiful woman! Her art fullfills the desires of the mind to question, rethink, and scope out a new worldview from within the smalltown, and often small experience set of the Rocky Mountain Westerner. It's like I've said to her before, it is hard for others to put themselves in the shoes of a war-torn nationale until they realize that the loud sounds of warplanes would be far more annoying if they were dropping bombs instead of just flying over. This is the experience that you get in Samira's paintings!
Keep up the great work Samira, and thanks to Katy, the Flying M, Frances, and to the Boise Weekly for you continued roots in the New West - may the paper continue to shine its enlightened light onto the furtile path of progressivism and tolerance!
