OK! Great bacon and eggs. Coffee tastes like truck stop but I like truck stop coffee.

Re: “Bloomberg: Supervalu May Dump Albertsons to Pay Down Billions in Debt

I'm no Wall Street 'Wiz' - but wouldn't this suggest Albertson's should now be considered a sinking ship?

This is what happens when one belief conflicts another. Praise to Allah and the Taliban of Northern Idaho.

Re: “Jalapeno's Bar and Grill

FYI ladufurrena, I spoke with the owner of the Federal Way Jalepeno's truck. He is in no way associated with the restaurant in this article. It was a sad day when he closed his storefront- a mere five minute walk from my home.

Re: “Campos Market: Carne Asada Ranchera Preparada

How did I miss this?! Amy, skip the preparada. Get the ranchera regular. Sprinkle it with a mixture 8 parts salt, 1 part black pepper and 1 garlic powder. Then, grill it over the hottest bed of mesquite charcoal. Whoa! After about 2 minutes, it's done. Slice the meat against the grain- otherwise it tends to be chewy. Top your tortilla and meat with cilantro, avacado and oaxacan chili pasilla sauce. Chipotle Tabasco will suffice in a pinch. Oh yeah, a squeeze of lime will propell you to culinary bliss.

Re: “Awkward cop interaction leads to seat belt ticket

Here you have it from the books.
Idaho Code
49-673. SAFETY RESTRAINT USE
(5) Enforcement of this section by law enforcement officers may be accomplished only as a secondary action when the operator of the motor vehicle has been detained for a suspected violation of another law.
I submit it is your civic duty to appear in court to correct the error of the citing officer.

Re: “Talking Smack

"The most extravagant idea that can be born in the head of a political thinker is to believe that it suffices for people to enter, weapons in hand, among a foreign people and expect to have its laws and constitution embraced. No one loves armed missionaries; the first lesson of nature and prudence is to repulse them as enemies." Are we deaf to the lessons of history? 27 July 1794, Robespierre was guillotined without trial in the Place de la Révolution (and, according to legend, the only man to be guillotined face-up, so he could see his death approaching). When clearing Robespierre's neck the executioner tore off the bandage that was holding his shattered jaw (an injury inflicted by a gunshot the previous evening) in place, producing an agonised scream until the fall of the blade silenced him. His corpse and head both were buried in the common cemetery of Errancis (now the Place de Goubeaux), but were accidentally moved to the Catacombs of Paris. The brutal realities of politics and war are repeated.
