Typical GOP reaction to protect business interests. Which always trump common sense safety for Idaho citizens. Nitrates in the groundwater? No problem... The farmers and ranchers are the ones drinking bottled water, because they know better than to drink anything pumped from the ground beneath their feet.
Well, the front page of the Idaho Statesman today is sure misleading... It states "Idaho exchange's enrollment is just 338."
Here’s an idea, let’s drop the global warming debate and try focusing on a simple truth…
Air pollution is BAD because breathing particulates and noxious fumes like carbon monoxide is unhealthy. Therefore, reducing air pollution is GOOD because breathing less particulates and noxious fumes is healthier.
Anyone care to dispute that?
Uhh, “public” charter schools? That is a clear misrepresentation… Check the history on why the charter schools are pushing for tax payer funding of facilities, and you’ll see it’s because if they have to pay for it themselves it would cut into their revenue. You can bet this “revenue” is not going back into the state coffers, and so this is just one more effort to funnel tax dollars to private interests.
Hooray for Avista and Monsanto for being civic minded. Booo to the utilities who really want to see 'personal' property tax repealed before any new powerlines get built...
Oh yes, move to Idaho, because we need even more cheap labor.
Being ranked 48th out of 50 states for lowest median income may have something to do with Amazon buying habits...
