Sorry Chenoa!
I'm not the only one who wanted to quit!
How hard is it to find another bassist? Probably not too difficult.
How hard is it to find one, who also manages the band; from booking to promotions/production, advertisements/posters/handbills, website/ online social networking? I think this will prove to be much more difficult and time has shown this to be true.
After reading your comment, I just felt compelled to say something. There is much, much more to the story!
I think Amy's article put everyone is the best light possible without dragging into it all the inter-personal drama that occurs in a rock'n'roll band of 7 people, or any band for that matter.
Truth be told, other members had already begun to develop their exit strategies before I made any formal announcement!

Peace, love & light to all!

Where else would you be able to have a drink? Not too mention that you probably would be pressed to get a bed at the full capacity homeless shelters, and would be thus getting sleeping in a public place tickets.

Delsa's food isn't just OK, I've been in several times since they have re-opened and enjoyed everything I've ever ordered. Maybe if the author of this article had looked around they would have noticed that there are salt packets available for your tots and fries. Personally I prefer to salt my own instead of chancing them being too salty. I have to agree that their service has been wonderful. All of their employees are very friendly and willing to go the distance to make you happy with Delsa's.

If you think that's a sad story, I'm guessing you missed the one on the evening news a few months ago... seems the folks down in Appalachia are starting their kids off early with their favorite drink: Mountain Dew in the bottle and in their sippy cups!!! These kids are losing their baby teeth and their adult teeth before they're even in all the way. And, needless to say, they're giving them a head start on childhood obesity and juvenile Diabetes!!! The worst part? When interviewed, the parents didn't see what was wrong with ANY of the afore-mentioned health problems! I say we should tax soda and maybe then we won't have a generation or two who are too fat to serve in the military, and won't be dead before they reach maturity!!! You go, Bill!!!

I understand that there are alot of people who need genuine help but I know clearly that there are teams of panhandlers that travel the nation... stay in hotels and make 10 to 20 bucks an hour each... more in bigger cities. I just don't trust it... I don't really see a better oprion for the real... genuine people but it would be sweet if there was a way to weed through the con artists and actually help the families who need provisions... just my opinion based on my experience... I think there should be a ban on rednecks in the military...let 'em buy their own ammo and guns, not sponge off the government's supply! And as for only Americans in the military, who IS an American? Surely not Muslims--oh God no....not THEM! First it was Indians, then Blacks and Mexicans, and now, MUSLIMS! The world has come to an end!
You idiots need to take your teabaggin' Palinistic forms of "patriotism" out to the landfill and LEAVE IT THERE! Sh@t stinks anywhere it flops, and yours has reached critical mass! Grow the Hell up!

This is a bit late on the draw, but some folks might benefit from knowing that there are several orders of Freemasonry in the world. Mainstream Masonry in the USA, often times called Blue Lodge, "Antient", or Anglo-American Masonry, requires belief in a supreme being to become a member. " Antient" Masons also place emphasis on the immortality of the soul and use religious texts in the Lodge (usually the Bible), as their "volume of the sacred law" on the altar. The Grand Lodge of Idaho is part of this mainstream order.

However, there are several other Modern orders of Freemasonry that do not have this "God" requirement, are truly secular, and uphold the principle of absolute freedom of conscience (thought, expression, speech, etc). In other words, as non-dogmatic orders, they accept, in the strict sense of the terms, members of good ethical character, regardless of race, nationality, religion, or lack thereof. This means that Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, atheists, agnostics, free thinkers, humanists, etc, are all “on the level”. Members are free to hold whatever metaphysical or philosophical beliefs they deem appropriate, as this is deemed irrelevant to good character.

One such Modern Masonic order is the Grand Orient of France, founded in 1733, and derived from the Grand Lodge of England (1717) from which "Antient" Masonry derived. In fact, the Grand Lodge of England was a Modern Lodge. However, mainstream "antient" Freemasonry, as a closed system, does not recognize these other orders of Freemasonry. Modern Freemasonry, as is other progressive independent Masonic orders, are thriving in Europe and are now growing in the USA. This also includes co-gender Freemasonry.
C'mon Cope! "a tax that is projected to bring in $15 billion a year, all dedicated to health care"??? Kinda like all those hundreds of millions of dollars in fines the tobacco industry pays that are dedicated to stop smoking. Really! What about diet pop? No high fructose corn syrup there! Will it be exempt? I didn't think so....

So Mr. B is betting on 90% accuracy here. Well, let’s dig a little deeper. Here’s an example. Say you go in for blood work on a rare disease that causes you to be an egotistical pompous-ass – let’s call it POPULITUS.

So given the parallel, let’s say the testing results are 90% accurate. Hence the results are dead-on with 90% of the people tested. However, it also means that 10% of the time people who do not have POPULITUS will test positive.

Now let’s say you live in a town with 100,000 people. Basically POPULITUS is going to crop up in about 1 out of every 350. Given that fact, there would realistically be about 285 true positives.

On the flip side, if it became necessary to test all 100,000 people, we’d get 10,000 positives – almost all of which would be false. I wouldn’t be off to Vegas with Mr. B any time soon.
