Bieter Loses His Voice

Elizabeth Duncan, the spokeswoman for Boise Mayor Dave Bieter, is headed for new pastures. We can't say if they're greener yet, because she hasn't determined that part.

Duncan's last day is set for Jan. 18, she told BW. She announced her exit shortly after the November elections.

But Duncan, a former television news reporter, says she's not leaving to pursue a definite goal, she said. "Luckily, I'm in a position where I can hang out and look around for a couple of months," Duncan told BW.

The mayor's office is developing a list of candidates for her replacement, but no names were offered.
