Law enforcement continues to investigate the discovery Jan. 23 of a body, wrapped in plastic, along the shore of the Coeur d'Alene River in the northern Idaho community of Cataldo.
Residents of the unincorporated community told KXLY-TV that "everyone in the neighborhood had been accounted for," adding the area is easily accessed by I-90.
KREM-TV reports the body was discovered by two men who were hunting in the area. Though no identity has been released, one neighbor said it appeared the body was that of a woman. Police blocked off the area through much of the day Sunday. Meanwhile, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone with information to assist their investigation by calling 208-466-1300. They're hoping for the public's help since the area is also a popular spot for runners.
