Boise Bike Week was founded in 2003 with modest but earnest expectations by avid cyclists Ryan Henbest and Tracy Wilson. It has long since lost its training wheels and the Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance has been pumping away ever since. The mission is simple and purposeful: celebrating fun and safe cycling.
This year, the first-ever Idaho Walk Bike Summit serves as a two-day prelude to the 2016 edition of Boise Bike Week, which begins spinning Saturday, May 14.
