Christopher Lynn Wirfs has been charged with felony aggravated battery and felony unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon
A Boise man is behind bars this morning after he allegedly fired a gun into a North End backyard Saturday night, injuring a woman.
At approximately 7 p.m. Sept. 12, Boise police responded to a report of gunfire at a home on the 700 block of West Resseguie Street. Officers found the injured woman at the scene. She was transported to a hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Christopher Wirfs, 35, of Boise, has been arrested in connection with the crime, booked on felony charges of aggravated battery and felon in possession of a firearm. Police indicated they may press further charges.
Police closed traffic on Resseguie Street between Seventh and Eighth streets to conduct their investigation, which is ongoing. Police report the suspect and victim—whose identity has not been released—know each other.
Felonies were filed Oct. 21 against March, who has been charged with felony counts of 1st Degree Murder, Burglary and Grand Theft. Barclay has been charged with felony counts of Burglary and Grand Theft, and is currently in custody.
