Timothy Zillmer, 47, is charged with video voyeurism.
A Boise man has been put behind bars, charged with a felony count of video voyeurism after Boise Police said he recorded a victim getting dressed.
Law enforcement was summoned to a northwest Boise residence in the evening hours of Sunday, Aug. 30. That's when witnesses told officers that a man had been seen standing outside a home with video recording equipment. Officers located the suspect nearby and they said their investigation found that a suspect had recorded the victim at a place where a person would have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
Timothy Zillmer, 47, was taken into custody and booked into the Ada County Jail on a charge of video voyeurism. Zillmer bonded out of the jail and is scheduled for an Ada County court hearing on Friday, Sept. 14.
"We talked to numerous house members who lived there, who knew him, and they didn't have anything suspicious to add. I just caution people, don't speculate too soon. This could be a medical condition for all we know."
