A Boise man is behind bars, charged with felony robbery, after police said he robbed a branch of Key Bank in Boise Monday morning.
Witnesses told Boise police the suspect displayed a weapon, demanded crash and fled on a bicycle. Police said they quickly got a description of the suspect as a 5-foot, 5-inch-tall male carrying a garbage bag of cash, and soon located the suspect and bicycle along a canal bank south of Milwaukee Street. Police said they also recovered a weapon from the suspect.
Ahmed Kathem, 20, of Boise, was booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of robbery. He's scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, November 3.
