Boise Police Seek Information on Car Jacking Suspect

Boise Police are asking for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in a car jacking.

The incident took place just before 4 p.m. on Aug. 26 near the 2000 block of S. Kerr Street. Police say the suspect approached the victim's 2011 Dodge Durango, showed a gun and stole the SUV. The vehicle's license plate number is 1AVY250,

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'8" tall, weighing 170-180 pounds, with receding, dark brown hair cut short on the sides and back, and gaps between his teeth. He was wearing long black shorts and a white tank top. 

Police say the suspect may be armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS or the Boise Police at 208-377-6790.
