Call for One-Act Plays in New Rocky Mountain Voices 2006 Competition 

The Westcliffe Center for the Performing Arts in Westcliffe, Colorado, is holding its eighth annual New Rocky Mountain Voices one-act play competition. Entries will be judged by a panel of jurors from the local and regional arts community and winning plays will be performed at Westcliffe's Jones Theater. Prizes include a staging of the winning plays, cash prices and certificates of acknowledgment.

The contest is open to playwrights from in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah or Wyoming submitting material not previously staged elsewhere, and it costs five sawbucks per play. For submission guidelines and rules, visit www.jonestheater.com.

Submissions should be sent to New Rocky Mountain Voices 2006, c/o Custer County Library, P.O. Box 689, 209 Main St., Westcliffe, Colorado 81252. Like your income tax return, entries must be postmarked by April 15.
