COPS TRAILING MEAN TEENS

While private citizens did their best approximations of yard work and golf last weekend, Boise Police spent the holiday weekend on the trail of some hooligans who held up a man at gunpoint during a home invasion on Friday. At about 3 p.m., officers walked up to a West Boise apartment holding a warrant; they left holding Andrew Wixson, 19, as well as some items they say were stolen during the holdup. Wixson made a brief attempt to escape on foot, but no dice. The three other man-children for whom police have issued warrants related to this crime have had better luck; they have managed to stay free through press time. They are Aaron Stopkai, 18 (bottom), Skyler Knanneberger, also 18 (top; dig that 'do!), and Ryan Wardlaw, 17, all of Boise. If you know them, turn them in by calling Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
