Editor's Note

I attended a continuing professional education class on Friday for my CPA license. Sometimes these classes are interesting, sometimes not. But overall, I appreciate the opportunity to learn something new or to be inspired again. Most often, I realize that there is so much more work I need to be doing and don't seem to have enough time to get everything done as it is. As the summer ends and the temperature drops, I am feeling discouraged. Already, there are not enough hours in the day, yet the days appear to be getting shorter. One important event that required my attention was Ted Rall's visit to Boise, which was on Saturday. I know those who came really did appreciate the opportunity to hear what he had to say. Unfortunately, not many came. Considering that Ted seems to stir more controversy than anyone else in Boise Weekly, I expected more interest. All of the writers at Boise Weekly work diligently each week to provide interesting material for your reading pleasure. They do not get much feedback. Please write in when you love something or when you hate it. They need to know you are out there and that you are reading.
