A former corrections worker is on the wrong side of a jail cell, charged with having sex with a male inmate at the Idaho State Correctional Institution, at the Idaho Department of Correction prison complex south of Boise.
Detectives with the Ada County Sheriff’s Office say they were contacted by IDOC officials about alleged sexual contact between the IDOC employee and a 21-year-old inmate between October and December 2014.
22-year-old Shauna Kelly of Kuna, a former medical assistant at ISCI, is being held at the Ada County Jail on $75,000 bond after being charged with a felony count of sexual contact with an inmate.
A warrant for Kelly's arrest was issued July 31, and the the former ISCI worker turned herself in at the Ada County Jail on Aug. 17.
