On November 4, six singer-songwriters come together at the Boise Little Theater in an amazing showcase of, well, singer-songwriters. "Words and Music" is presented by Audio Lab studios, Wirestone and the Linen District and offers Boiseans a night of amazing talent in a close, intimate setting.
The night's artists are (listed alphabetically) David Andrews, Bill Coffey, Steve Fulton, Kelly Martin, Rebecca Scott and Christine Thomas. All of these musicians are stars in their own right, but on a stage together, there's guaranteed to be some magic.
Each musician performs two songs of his or her own and then all come together on stage to perform one song from each songwriter accompanied by Chad Waite on drums, Jamie Vink on bass, John McMahon on cello, Debbie Sager on vocals and Rebecca Gourley on violin.
Tickets are available through www.icitickets.com for $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Each ticket includes a program with biographies and photos of each artist, plus a compilation CD. Also, a CD of the performance will be available after the show.
Then, on November 5, Steve Fulton and Christine Thomas perform and celebrate the release party of both of their CDs again in the intimate setting of the Boise Little Theater.
These are wonderful musical events and an opportunity to see some of our finest performers together on one stage. This caliber of entertainment can't be beat.
Friday, November 4, $15, Boise Little Theater, 100 E. Fort St., 342-5104. For more information, contact Steve Fulton at 344-9551.
