Girls on the Run Needs Coaches

Dedicated to improving the health, self-esteem and community involvement of girls grades 3 to 5, Girls on the Run is a 10-week after school program of exercise, mentoring and community service culminating in 5k run.

With the spring season about to begin, Girls on the Run is searching for willing and able volunteers. Interested runners should be available after school two days per week for about an hour and 15 minutes. All programs have two coaches and an extensive list of subs is available should coaches need a day off. All coaches are required to complete a training course and undergo a background check. Training begins this week. For additional information or for an application, contact Girls on the Run at
