A giant auction is slated for this weekend, with automobiles, RVs, motorcycles, guns, tools and more than 150 bicycles on the auction block.
Many of the items having been seized by area law enforcement, with a good number of having been stolen but never claimed by the original owners. Law enforcement usually requires owners to claim missing items within 90 days before they turn to Corbett Auctions and Appraisals to sell the items. Proceeds from the auction go to the general funds of the entity that reported the unclaimed item.
According to Corbett Auctions
, Scott, Schwinn, Bianchi and Fisher bikes will be on the auction block, along with other items seized by police including jewelry, iPhones, electronics and tools. Nearly 200 weapons will also be auctioned—35 to the general public and 165 to gun dealers only. Vehicles will include a 1979 Cadillac, 2007 Mini Cooper convertible and multiple pickups.
will be held at 547 E. Stagecoach Way in Kuna, beginning at 10 a.m. The public can preview the items Friday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
