According to a study
released in spring 2015 by Boise State University researchers, the City of Trees' arts economy is flourishing, finding three-quarters of artist respondents wanted to stay in Boise to work, and 65 percent of respondents said local arts organizations and businesses support their career development.
Boise State, especially, has for years been a staunch supporter of up-and-coming artists. Join some of its most talented creatives for the opening reception of Insight: 2016 Annual Student Juried Exhibition at Boise State's Visual Arts Center Thursday, Feb. 4.
The reception runs from 5 to 8 p.m., with awards announced at 6 p.m. See works by Thomas Finnegan, Aryssa Hutchins, Veiko Valencia, Inna Grischuk and more. The exhibition runs through Friday, March 18.
