It's Kid's Play

The Boise Independent School District and the Boise Parks and Recreation Department are making fast friends with each other to get your kid out for some exercise during the approaching cold winter months.

If you can get your little rugrats anywhere near a school on the weekend, a handful of elementary and junior high schools will be open and supervised for a few hours of good clean fun doing all those things we adults miss about grade school P.E. classes: tether ball, four square and, of course, dodgeball (what would you give to be able to legally bean someone with a giant rubber ball these days?).

The gyms listed below are open on the weekends to students in kindergarten through grade 12 every weekend until March 14. All are free and closed on holidays.
