Jonna Doolittle Hoppes Book Launch

Author and granddaughter of General Jimmy Doolittle, Jonna Doolittle Hoppes, is launching her new book Just Doing My Duty which tells the personal stories of some of America's heroes including soldiers, nurses and factory workers. The launch includes a discussion panel made up people who are profiled in the book including Rose Beal, a survivor of the Kristallnacht (Crystal Night) Nazi raids in Poland; Bob Coats, a Pearl Harbor survivor; Max Fullmer, who fought with Gen. George Patton; Carmelita Pope Wood, an actress who was offered a role in the USO production of Kiss and Tell; Edith McClure, a nurse who worked with American GIs and German POWs in a psychiatric ward in England, and lastly, Tom Griffin, one of the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders.
