Journeys to Art at Boise Art Museum

After a hiatus, "Journeys to Art" ("Viajando al Arte")--a cultural outreach program courtesy of Boise Art Museum--is back.

On certain Saturdays, BAM provides free transportation from the Hispanic Cultural Center in Nampa to BAM and back. Participants also get free admission to the museum and to Family Art Saturday (workshops designed around current exhibitions at BAM). A bilingual docent is on hand to lead a tour of the current exhibit and Spanish/English handouts are also provided.

The bus leaves the Hispanic Cultural Center (315 Stampede Way, Nampa) at 11:30 a.m. and leaves the museum for the return trip at 3 p.m.

On February 25, "Journeys to Art" will explore the current exhibit, the textile art of Hildur Bjarnadottir.

For more information about the program and eligibility, contact Boise Art Museum at 345-8330 or visit www.boiseartmuseum.org.
