Live at the Record Exchange and Hijinx Comedy Club: The Generationals

Tonight at 7 p.m., The Generationals bop into Record Exchange to celebrate the release of their new album, Con Law.

New Orleans duo Grant Joyner and Ted Widmer take a note from sugar-pie-honey-bunch '60s pop, then add handclaps and whistles and turn it up a notch.

If you don't get enough of The Generationals at Record Exchange, head over to Hijinx Comedy Club at 9 p.m. You'll just have whetted your appetite for The Generationals at Record Exchange and then can dance your silly ass off while they play the big room at Hijinx.

Have dinner before you go, but save room. The Generationals are sweet enough to be dessert.
