Sept. 3-Oct. 18. “Living Within Two Cultures”
The exhibit organized by undergraduate art students Jean You and Allison Corona focuses on work that depicts their traditions, represents their cultural identity and reflects their personal life experience of growing up within two cultures. The objective of each artist is to create a space where discussions about race and race relations can occur in a constructive manner while celebrating their individual cultures as well as the culture of each viewer. The reception is Sept. 3 from 5-7 p.m. Free parking is available in the Liberal Arts parking lot during the reception.
