Musical Movies

When: Sun., March 4, 2 p.m. 2012
Price: $18, $10 students and children.
Silent film was never really silent; instead, it was frequently accompanied by an organ or small orchestra ensemble. Get that old-school experience when Yorgos Kouritas, Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra conductor and members of the Boise Philharmonic present this glimpse into the 1920s silver screen with films Felix in Pedigreedy, starring the loved Felix the Cat; Buster Keaton in One Week and Charlie Chaplin in The Adventurer. The historic films will be shown at the equally awesome and historic Egyptian Theatre. Visit boisephilharmonic.org for more info.
