Ten of the nation's most flavorful kids will win a trip to the Nestle Ice Cream Factory in So. Cal. on Nestle's dime. Winners of Nestle's invent a flavor frozen pop contest receive a $1,000 U.S. savings bond, a year's supply of Nestle frozen snacks and a batch of their winning flavor.
Winners visit the top-secret flavor lab closed to the public, a behind-the-scenes tour of the factory and will get to taste their own flavor creations. Last year's winners included 7-year-old Hailey M. from Coeur d'Alene.
As of April 3, kids can submit their idea for the world's coolest frozen pop. Entries must include a clever name, an interesting shape and a unique flavor description. Also included in entry submissions should be a "flavorful" resume explaining why the entrant is qualified to be a Nestle tastologist. All contestants must be residents of the United States and between the ages of 6-12.
