A week after an 84-year-old woman drove her Jeep Cherokee into a shop on Overland Rd., the status of both the driver and her victims remains up in the air. Last Tuesday at 1:09 p.m., an 84-year-old woman piloted her Jeep Cherokee through the front of Mrs. Beesley's Health Food store, demolishing the entrance and taking out two women who were standing at the cash register. As of a week later, on May 16, Boise Police spokeswoman Lynn Hightower said that the two women remained in the hospital due to their serious injuries. The 84-year-old woman who piloted the jeep has not been charged or cited, and Hightower said officers will most likely conclude their investigation and leave it up to either the city or county prosecutor to decide whether charges will be pressed. The name of the woman has still not been released.
