A Boise man is behind bars, charged with a felony after proprietors of a local sandwich shop say he skipped out on a dinner bill and then robbed the place.
Boise Police were called to the sandwich shop on the 6800 block of Overland Road Sunday night. That's where witnesses told police that the man had ordered a sandwich earlier in the evening and left without paying. But he returned to the shop, demanded money from a clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police said the suspect was also wanted on an outstanding warrant on a previous charge.
Officers later located the suspect at a residence on Fairview Avenue near Cole Road.
21-year-old Jacob Jackson of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail on charges of robbery, petit theft and failure to appear.
