Rumor Mill - La Vie En Rose Dinner Hours - Free Pizza

From the Mill ...

If you were a fly on the wall in our office, you'd have long ago met your maker at the adept hands of our in-house, chopstick-wielding fly killer, but in your final moments, the conversation in the office this week would have sounded something like this:

BW #1: So I hear Reef, Front Door and Grainey's are all for sale.

BW #2: The building or the businesses?

BW #1: The businesses.

... a few phone calls later ...

BW #1: Whatchya got?

BW #2: I got a big fat "no" on Reef from its current owner, but then there's this issue of an off-record confirmation from another couple of sources. You?

BW #1: On Grainey's? It's a hush-hush thing, but I heard a price. But I also have a vehement denial from its owner.

BW #2: Where's that leave us?

BW #1: Well, Roque's in Eagle closed. So is New York Burrito.

BW #2: Confirmed?

BW #1: Confirmed. Then there's the In-N-Out thing.

BW #2: Do tell.

BW #1: Well, a county source said some very official documents had In-N-Out's name on them pertaining to an Idaho location.

BW #2: How'd that pan out?

BW #1: The company flat-out denies it, but I'm calling their bluff.

BW #2: So how do we report on nothing but rumor?

BW #1: Food News?

And the award for the most confusing business hours goes to ...

As we were plotting our infiltration of La Vie En Rose's dining population (see page 49 for the results of that little gastronomic experiment), we caught wind that the bistro is now open for dinner and therefore adjusted our plans accordingly. However, with extended hours comes new hours all together. Here they are: Tuesday-Wednesday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Thursday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m.-9 p.m., closed Monday. Now cut out this little blurb and put it in your wallet because you'll never be able to remember those chaotic times.
