With a menu that has scoured Americana for classic dishes like shrimp and grits, brisket and beignets, Saint Lawrence Gridiron has made a name for itself in Boise for its Deep South-inspired cuisine served with local flair.
To mix things up (literally), from 5-9 p.m. today, Erick Castro owner of San Diego-based Polite Provisions
, will be behind the SLG bar with the spot's own Ashley Roshtish preparing cocktails from a new menu featuring five Tiki-themed tipples.
Castro, who is regarded as one of the country's leading cocktail experts, is in Boise as part of a 27-day tour during which he and a film crew will document the local bartending cultures of nine Western cities. Boise is Castro's eighth stop on the tour.
