Sinbad Show Cancelled

Add Sinbad to the list of long-forgotten ’90s stars who book tour dates in Idaho then back out at the last minute. The Knitting Factory just confirmed that “An evening of comedy with Sinbad,” scheduled for this Friday, August 7, has been cancelled. Sinbad’s gig at the other Northwest Knitting Factory in Spokane, Wa. has also been nixed, though no reasons have been specified at this time.

Known primarily for his stand-up comedy act and the short-lived sitcom, The Sinbad Show, Sinbad—or David Adkins—has also dabbled in an array of other pursuits, including emceeing the 2000 Miss Universe pageant, contradicting Hillary Clinton's statements about Bosnia and starring in the Nickelodeon comedy, Good Burger.

Tickets purchased for the performance at the Knitting Factory bought via Ticketweb, ShopText or phone will automatically be refunded. Tickets purchased at the Record Exchange must be returned to the Knitting Factory box office for a refund or mailed to:

Knitting Factory Box Office

418 S. 9th St., Ste. 306

Boise, ID 83702

Still sad about Friday’s show being cancelled? Maybe Sinbad dressed as a latex condom will cheer you up.

“Gimme an L. Gimme an A. Gimme a T. Gimme an E. Gimme an X. What’s that spell? LATEX!”
