Summer 2006

As we put this summer's edition of Idaho Arts Quarterly to bed, it's not even summer yet, and the valley's baking in unseasonable mid-to-upper-90s heat. By contrast, everything inside the issue is, of course, quite cool. Crack these pages and you'll read an in-depth profile of our cover artist, an introduction to traditional casket makers in Fort Hall, a piece about the big names flocking to Sun Valley and the arts association that is celebrating its silver anniversary, and last but not least, a profile of a North Idaho author writing to break the mold. And of course, we've compiled listings galore to help you plan your summer fun.
