Head to Bogus to celebrate the lack of snow

It’s summer time and that means it’s time to celebrate the easy life, and the fact that there's no snow.

Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is hosting its annual Summer Fest from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 25 at the resort. Hikers and bikers can plop down $15 for a ticket and ride the Deer Point chairlift to the top to explore the trails for the day.

The base of the mountain will be the hub of activity with food and drink vendors at the JR Simplot Lodge.

Outdoor clubs and shops will be on hand with info, and mountain bikes will be available for rentals.
