We're Ready For Summer

Oh, yeah, we're ready for summer. Let's see, we've had a burn ban already in place, the dust clouds are thick on the Foothills trails, and the scent of barbecues (hmm, are all these things related?) fills the air around Boise.

So let's get to it: Welcome to our annual Summer Guide, which began with a conversation in our offices. "What does summer really mean?" we asked. Whether it's drunk tubers on the Boise River or the arrest of same, the season has its hallmarks that we thought deserved attention.

It's also the season for Boise Bike Week, music festivals like the Eagle Island Experience, and that first grass stain on your butt from sitting in the cheap seats at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. Welcome to the annual manual of warm weather pursuits.
