I was truly disappointed as MSNBC tried to race bait their questions for the first 40 minutes of the debate.

I don't think it was MSNBC that was doing the race baiting, how many time did Clinton use the term 'black/brown'??
Over all it was a pretty lack luster debate but they did get a chance to clear up their stand on the war and what is meant by 'troops in Iraq' so that was good.
Not sure if there was a winner in that debate but I think Obama came out on top.

Isn't it interesting how very differently people see these debates?
I for one LOVE the idea that Senator Clinton and Senator Obama and John Edwards are NOT attacking each other. THEY are NOT the problem. The problem is The Bush Administration, and some of the Republican Candidates who are seeking to replace Bush, with just more of the same.
I love the idea that all three Candidates did not take the "race bait" that was continually thrown at them by the Sleezy Media!
You know they keep saying the Democrats are divided. Well, of course, they're divided, they're divided between two or three different Presidential Candidates. Of course they're going to be divided during a Primary Election. THAT's what Primaries are all about. The Important thing is when this Primary is over, I believe that all three of these candidates will endorse and support whomever the Democratic Presidential Candidate turns out to be, and that is NOT a "Divided" party. That is a well oiled functioning Party!
I also have to disagree with Drivesme (sorry Drives) because I felt that Senator Clinton definitely won this debate. While Senator Obama is a superb orator, Senator Clinton is a superb Debater. And, I also think that John Edwards did an excellent job. I think ALL Democrats can be extremely proud of our Slate of Candidates this year....It will be a Very cold day in hell before you will see a Viable Black Candidate and a Viable Woman Candidate being in the top Three "Republican" Presidential Candidates! We Can't Lose with either one of these three Candidates. IMHO ;)

It is interesting to see how we all might have watched a different debate last night!
I did not pick up on a 'race baiting', there were questions about race but lets face it, in the last couple of weeks the candidates themselves have injected race into things.
I do like the fact that all three seem to get along and that there were no real attacks or major disagreements among them.
That might be why I saw it as somewhat lack luster for a 'debate'.
The Democrats are divided, but not nearly as much as the republicans!
The winner last night?
They all did a good job, they all are smart which is a refreshing change, but I still have to give the win to Obama.
He was much better at defining where he stands, where he wants to go and how he will get us there.
I think he showed more leadership quailitys and that is what we need.

I think they all done a great job and added a bit more clarity to how they would go about getting the job done. I agree with most of what the dems are about. I think they all have good ideas. Obama has a lot of heart and is inspiring but Hillary, I believe, has a better chance of managing government and its institutions… I believe Edwards is the best champion for the little guy….
I was dismayed that NBC went to court to keep Kucinich out of the debate. (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gDnNS8D2ehuX_-DVhFZ3z3WK1vtgD8U6M5V00)
And you all know me and my issues. They all showed us clearly that they will continue the culture of war in our country.
