These cartoons are really good and to the point. All these recent band-aids will not cure the massive war expenditures or all those bills that went thru congress under Bush. How are we going to fund all those treasury bills and the interest payments which China/Japan and other third world countries have bought which are financing the Bush War and many of the government programs? Giving big sums on money to taxpayers will only add to the National Debt that the republicans have continually said makes no difference to our economy. Why do Republicans think that throwing money at anything will cure all economic problems?

I thought that was traditional liberalism..education broken, throw money at it, folk poor, thow money at them, health care costs too much, throw money at the system....
