Just a note to let everyone know that our forum was recently updated. I don't believe there were any earth shattering changes, mostly administrative.
Also, we did some housekeeping recently that caused some members to be deleted from our membership list.
Fortunately, The BW Forum gets several hundred requests for New Registrations each week. Unfortunately, most are Spammers/Pornographers, or previously banned posters trying to access our forum again (and again) using a different screen name, email and or IP Address.
The BW Forum has recently instituted a new and improved Vetting Process in our efforts to prevent Spammers and Pornographers from registering on our forum....To date, we have been fairly successful, but we are always trying innovative ways to avoid this nusance.
One policy we have recently insituted, is that we have set up a system that will automatically delete any poster who has not posted in 60-90 days. Since everyone has the capability of viewing The BW Forum without ever becoming a Member, it is not necessary to register for membership just to "view" the forum. Therefore, if people are not going to post, then we would just as soon not have to manage several hundred names for no reason.
If you or someone you know was deleted, and you do wish to post on our forum, then please re-register.
Also, we are going to start a new thread in the Politics Section of the Forum for "Political Jokes." Please keep all political jokes off of the "discussion" treads and keep them on the Political Jokes Thread. It is very distracting to some members to have to page thru several pages of full page jokes while trying to follow the content of the discussion on the thread. We know some members don't agree, but we are making that our policy. You can still post all the jokes you want, about whatever candidate you want, just keep them off of the discussion threads. And in actuality, a written post, deserves better than a printed comic in response.
So I believe that is all that's new and exciting on The BW Forum. Just a Reminder to Existing and New Members, please keep your posts directed at the Topic and Not your fellow posters. The BW Forum is dedicated to keeping civil discourse alive and well and we will tolerate nothing less.
Happy Posting.
