Re: “Former Intelligence Official: Trump Conflict With Spy Agencies Creates ‘Dangerous Moment’

Yes, It is very dangerous when the spy agencies realize the new guy will take control of them. Several agencies simply need to be forever shuttered and the rest put in the corner where they can be watched. Where is Frank Church when we need him.

They don't have enough subsidized housing for such an award. Now maybe if they get a bunch of free housing and a free needle exchange vending machine they will be in the running.

Re: “Russia's Shadow-War in a Wary Europe

The French economy is about the same size as Texas -- so who cares! Oh, you're worried because it's one of 5 countries in the EU that pay their own bills? Still, who cares.

Re: “Russia's Shadow-War in a Wary Europe

The Russian rigged the election thing fell flat here, but over there Russia has no need to spy in France. The French will sell anything to anyone. For example: During the Falkland Islands War. French aviation technicians in Argentina repaired aircraft and Exocet missiles used to kill British and sink British ships.

If the alt-right wins in France it will be because the traditional French people have grown tired of the violence and hatred from the invaders.

By all means let us know everything there is to know about 'ethics' when some of your members don't hire prostitutes and have them send death threats and such to young women they obsess over and/or ex-partners. If that's what you want call 'poly' these days...

Re: “Trump Issues Disaster Declarations for 11 Southern Idaho Counties Ravaged By Winter Storms

and were just going to over look the fact that the Chemtrails have nothing to do with the nations heavy winter? Our own Idaho Power Company stated they seed the sky thru their company. The UN stated that Chemtrails are real and what chemicals are being sprayed on us. The DOD published books on controlling the weather, since the 40's, and who hasn't looked to see a TIC TAC TOE in the sky? Butch Otter is Simplot/Monsanto, who makes the Chem-Trails just like Agent Orange that is now sprayed on tobacco and other produce we eat.
My concern is the damage to homes and people that the insurance that they have will not cover their costs. In my opinion, so many will loose.

Re: “Along Came Poly

This conference was absolutely wonderful and represents a huge step forward in society. Polyamory is based on developing excellent communication skills, negotiating needs (as opposed to automatically expecting your partner to meet them) and creating relationships that actually make the people in them healthy and happy instead of shoving them into a cookie cutter cultural norm that may not actually serve them well. All of the skills used to create successful polyamorous relationships can benefit monogamous relationships too. Very much so. Jealousy is sadly often confused with love and seen as something insurmountable. It is the thing most people are curious about when they first hear of polyamory. Yet upon thoughtful examination, jealousy often represents a specific fear. When the fear is discussed with your loved one it offers both parties an opportunity to show how much they care and assure the fearful one that they are loved and supported. If jealousy is treated as something impossible to get over, many great opportunities for connection and reassurance are lost.

Re: “Along Came Poly

Karen, To compare relationships between consenting adults to pedophelia does a terrible injustice to children. Children are NOT consenting adults. What a horrifically incorrect, insensitive and downright sick thing to say. I fear for the children in any persons life if they cannot see the difference between pedophelia and consenting adults. YIKES!!!!!!

Sounds like the rent for the Little Guy need to be lowered. Urban Outfitters will be gone soon, moving to Meridian Village.

What next? Let them be whoever and however they want. I'd bet that jealousies would be hard to control. Live and let live, but it doesn't sound enticing at all to me.

Re: “What Constitutes a 'Clean, Sober and Safe' House in Idaho?

Our governments need to put restrictions on where and how many people with a history of problems can live. These folks are the byproduct of a profiteering CJ system and a failed mental illness system.

What all these boohoo OPED articles fail to take into account is how these halfway houses totally screw up a neighborhood. It only takes one turd in the pool. Excessive noise, excessive dilapidated vehicles, late night activity, petty crime, and completely trashed rental houses. Why should we bother to keep up our home if these scumbag profiteers can drop a bunch of rowdy unsupervised probationers into the house next door without restriction? Even if these people are not drinking or drugging they smoke $200 a week in cigarettes. It creates an inescapable plume of stink engulfing a large area near the rental.

This imposition upon people who don't want our property values destroyed needs to become a campaign issue. There is a place and a need but you are intentionally crapping on the people paying the bills. You dump them in good neighborhoods for the residents to babysit. Disrespect for upstanding people and very bad judgment is at the core of the whole mess.
