Re: “Video: North Idaho Wolf People Sanctuary Pushes Back Against Suspension

Please tell the whole truth !

This person was told several times not to try and attempt to pet the wolves! There are two fences a safe distance apart to insure people are not able to reach these gentle creatures without direct supervision. This person went out of her way to reach this wolf . Obviously this friendly animal only wanted to play. This person has made a mountain out of a mole hill. She neither respects nor comprehends the true loving nature of these beautiful creatures. I believe this person is showing her ignorance as well as some attention seeking behavior. I do not fear any of Nancy's wolves .. but I respect them and respect Nancy and her mission to educate people of all ages as to intelligent, gentle and shy nature of these soulful animals in a very safe manner.

If you can not respect the rules and safe guideline that have been thoughtfully put in place to insure how one can safely interact with these beautiful creatures, then I would recommend that You stay home and first become educated via Facebook.

Re: “Wrong Way Driving Leads to Drug Bust

Since mr spies and i have asked and or requested for boise weekly to get their story correct and to follow up on the outcome of this matter. We will be moving forward with legal action due to the negligence of this particular piece of slander on mr spies. We had asked many times for this to be removed or made correct. Since none of the following requests have even been replied to. We will assume that's refusal to cooperate with him to hear the actual events of that night and outcome. We will also be speaking with many other victims of slander that Boise weekly has negatively effected their personal and private lives. Due to false reports or stretching of the truth and never their final verdict and outcome. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Re: “Boise Homeless Advocates: 'Housing, Not Handcuffs'

It's more than just following the rules at the shelter that homeless would rather sleep on the street. These people are homeless not prisoners- the rules are absurd, you must obey and conform to their religious beliefs, they are treated like trash. It's not about compassion its about cash - if the beds stay full the pockets stay full

Re: “The BrickYard Plans to Open Downtown in Late June

John Mortimer was a hack chef and a total douchebag he did not have a single unique dish on his menu. And no Som that was certified? What is up with Boise cuisine? The owners of Milky Way were horrible people too. Mitch was a sleazebag and his little troll wife treated their employees like garbage. Karma is a bitch. In the ten years since i worked for both of those losers, i lived on the mosel in Germany for 3 years and have made a good living as a sommelier. Boise is not the same as it was. Just a bunch of posers. A "politics" themed restaurant! WTF?

Re: “Barbacoa Owner Arrested on Felony Drug Charge

i know a very kind generous man . One with a open mind and generous soul. I know a man who proposed to his wife after two thousand dates with two thousand White roses delivered . I know a man who came from nothing and worked long hours to co create the gathering place where many hearts found each other by the edge of the sea. Ti amo means I LOVE YOU. I know a man who left a gold mine and moved his entire family to a sleepy town in Idaho . I know a man who was a great friend to me and once had the nerve to say hey!You lost your way ! i know a special pair of human beings that have a talent to create love through food and art and music and have prospered by creating another gathering place . jobs love good food and music.

Re: “Survey: Idaho Has Rudest Drivers in U.S.

My biggest beef here is this...people from the side roads and parking lots just pull out into the roadways like a bunch of cockroaches come out when the lights turn on. It doesn't matter who's coming, they just pull out. No common sense!! I've driven in just about every state and Idaho is the only state with this weird phenominon. It happens everywhere but it seems like most people have adopted the weird culture in Idaho. And yes, everyone drives way below the speed limit! Rude, not necessarily bit weird for sure!!

Cinder Bear was rescued by Steve Love of Pateros Wa. There is a new children's book out about Cinder and I hope it gives credit to Steve.

If you're not killing to eat, then you need to get a life and find a different hobby. It's not fair game when you have a fucking gun! I hope they eat your balls off...oh wait, you don't have any.

Re: “No Lunch Money Means No Lunch in Eastern Idaho School

Like most people here, I’m appalled to say the least. Taking food away from a child is one of the most inconceivable actions that you can do to a hungry child.
I’m just as appalled at these parents. If your child is on the lunch program, get your rear end down to the school and fill out the paperwork. The school is open a week before it is officially opened for classes. You have no excuse for not taking care of your child!
For the parent that is busy, all of us parents are busy. How dare you use excuses to not do your job!? There is no reason that your child, or the school, should have to inform you that your child needs money for lunch.
I have 2 children, I calculate out the daily lunch cost, and pay for my children's lunch accordingly. I know when they need money for lunch and I go to the school and pay it in advance.
It sickens me to know that the school has done this to children.
For the parents; shame on you for creating this situation for your children. May you blame yourselves instead of other people!

Re: “UPDATE: War of Words Ignites Among Idaho GOP In Wake of Defeat of Child Support Measure

This bill would subject Idaho to international law. It was my understanding that we made our own laws here in the US. Isn't that part of what makes us exceptional? The fear mongering coming from the establishment is unprecedented. I cannot believe that these people are trying to protect our way of life and all you people do is complain.

Also this news article is a total newspeak peace, full of lies and half truths. Why can the media just stick to the facts?

Re: “Boise Parking Meters to Get Smarter

What the "dumb" meters actually do is make it impossible for people who work downtown (especially those people who work in the services indutsries) to "feed the meters," that is, go out on the street and put in more coins to prevent getting a $15.00 parking ticket. The dumb meters will tell a "meter maid or meter manservant" when the slot has been occupied for longer than the permitted time, so a ticket will be written anyway. This is one more way to make it harder for people who can't afford a condo in downtown to even work there.

Re: “Poll: Should the Saint Luke's Master Plan be Approved?

St. Luke's is a very fine medical facility and they should be allowed to expand/enhance healthcare services downtown. However, the current proposed plan does not incorporate design elements that fit in our east-end neighborhood. We have supported prior St. Luke's expansion requests because they collaborated with us. But, this time it appears the corporate executive team at St. Luke's assumed they could go it alone. Well that's not the way we do it in our fair city. Block St. Luke's corporate entitlement tactics and say no to the closure of East Jefferson Street. We do not want a super-block campus walling off east Boise neighborhoods.

Also, St. Luke's threats of lesser or lower quality healthcare service availability if they are not allowed to expand across Jefferson St. is bogus. I have several friends that are Doc's at St. Luke's and they have reassured me that the current downtown facility will continue to provide exceptional healthcare service for years to come.
