Obama a P***k? Man, Shut Yo' Mouth

Posted By on Mon, Sep 13, 2010 at 12:12 PM

This one should be labeled under "bizarre":

After knocking back a few, British college student Luke Angel, 17, of Bedfordshire, England, reportedly sent an angry e-mail to the White House criticizing President Barack Obama and coining some choice vernacular in the process.

His punishment? Eternal banishment from the United States.

Angel admits that he shot off the e-mail after watching a television show about the 9/11 attacks and conceded that: "I don't remember exactly what I wrote as I was drunk. But I think I called Barack Obama a p***k. It was silly—the sort of thing you do when you're a teenager and have had a few," according to Angel via Britain's The Sun, who ran an article titled "I barracked Obama."

While Angel won't suffer any legal consequences, his parents are a wee peeved about his actions. Angel said the act was a "bit extreme," describing the encounter the next morning:
"The police came and took my picture and told me I was banned from America forever. I don't really care but my parents aren't very happy."

A spokesperson from the Bedfordshire police department had this to say:
"The individual sent an e-mail to the White House full of abusive and threatening language. We were informed by the Metropolitan Police and went to see him. He said, 'Oh dear, it was me.'"

The Sun also contacted Joanne Ferreira of the Department of Homeland Security, who said that while there are 60 reasons one can earn a ban from the States that, "We are prohibited from discussing specific cases."
