The State Board of Education has granted the full tuition and fee increases requested by Idaho's public universities and colleges. The Board OK'd a 5 percent increase at Boise State, 8.4 percent for the University of Idaho, 7 percent at Idaho State University, 7 percent for Lewis-Clark State College and 5 percent at Eastern Idaho Technical College. It was the first time in history that the board approved exactly what each institution had requested.

The board meeting continues today at the U of I Student Union in Moscow. On today's agenda is a review of budget guidelines for Fiscal Year 2013.
