More Cold, Light Snow Greet Occupy Boise Campers

Posted By on Sun, Nov 6, 2011 at 11:37 AM

It was all quiet on the Eastern front this morning, or at least on the east side of the old Ada County Courthouse, where the Occupy Boise encampment was waking up to its first sunrise after an inaugural night.

"I heard we had as many as 50 people here overnight," Warren Hatton, one of the campers, told Citydesk this morning. "This is pretty awesome."

The campsite is limited to the East Side of the lawn in front of the courthouse, until after Friday, Nov. 11 when the Idaho Dept. of Administration said the occupiers could expand their encampment to the front lawn.
