Latino Business told to Stop Marketing Insurance in Idaho

Posted By on Fri, Dec 9, 2011 at 11:59 AM

An unlicensed Nampa outfit has been told to stop marketing insurance services. The Idaho Department of Insurance issued a cease-and-desist order to Multiservicios Latinos, which had placed advertisements soliciting insurance in a Latino magazine, as well as on their business Facebook page. The department said the business holds no insurance license for Idaho.

Magali Fleming, the owner of Multiservicios Latinos, told the department that she had intended to have an insurance producer license before the ads were published, but to date she has not applied for a license for herself or her business.
