Serving notice to lawmakers that they were "hereby ordered to quit and vacate the premises," protesters braved the midday downpour to post a large eviction notice on the steps of the Idaho Statehouse.

United Action for Idaho hosted the "pack 'em up and move 'em out" rally, complete with stacks of moving boxes adorned with the names the choice legislators.

"They couldn't even find time to add the words," Alma Hasse told the crowd, referring to Republican members of the Senate State Affairs Committee and their choice not to hold a hearing on a measure that would afford equal human-rights protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Today's protest singled out their ire for pro-oil and gas industry legislation and bills aimed at the Occupy Boise movement.

"We stand here today on our steps," shouted Brian Walker, an attorney representing Occupiers. "We stand before our Statehouse, before our Legislature. Contrary to what they believe, we own them."
